FOOD, REAL ESTATE & OUR ICO TEAM...WHAT IS BETTER?
For over 30 years we have always had a team that was passionate about real estate. It is not a chore to talk about different properties that we are looking at or new listings we are working on. One of the new events we implemented this year is called Picnic & A Property. We are able to bring our ICO team together on-site and talk about what makes that piece of property unique and compelling. We dive into how it was developed, the challenges and opportunities of the site and what separates it from its competition.
In the Spring we visited an industrial development in Stafford and this Fall we were able to visit a large land tract off of Spur 10 near Highway 59 listed by Lang Motes and Seth Green. This 652 acres is ideal for residential or mixed-use development and has over 1,300 feet of frontage on Spur 10. At Picnic & A Property we discuss access, development opportunities, possible prospective buyers and how we see this tract being part of the overall growth strategy for Fort Bend County. We drove Polaris’ all over the property and had a great picnic lunch discussing the possibilities for the tract. Great things happen when we are able to bring the brain trust together and strategize over our favorite thing, real estate.
ICO SERVES WITH 1000 HILLS MINISTRY
ICO Commercial had the pleasure of serving with 1000 Hills Ministry in December. 1000 Hills Ministry works with people in Houston who are struggling in poverty, homelessness, addiction, and despair. They provide daily, outdoor church services and meals in impoverished communities through volunteers and other organizations willing to help. Their goal is for individuals facing homeless conditions to be fed spiritually and physically.
Our ICO team provided Christmas presents to give to the homeless men and women and served dinner to them as well. It was a great night filled with worship and a message from leaders of The Sanctuary Fellowship. We look forward to our continued partnership with 1000 Hills Ministry.
