ASHFORD YARD BRINGS NEW LIFE TO FORMER SCHLUMBERGER CAMPUS IN THE ENERGY CORRIDOR
A significant redevelopment project is underway in Houston's Energy Corridor as the former Schlumberger campus at 1325 S Dairy Ashford Road is transformed into Ashford Yard, a 12.7-acre mixed-use destination designed to serve as a new community hub for West Houston.
Developed by Market Square Companies and Tenon Property Company, Ashford Yard will feature more than 90,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and service-oriented space surrounding a central green space anchored by a mature live oak tree. The project is strategically located at the intersection of Briar Forest Drive and S Dairy Ashford Road, providing convenient access to nearby residential communities and major employers including BP, Baker Hughes, Citgo, Sysco, and ConocoPhillips.
In addition to its retail and dining offerings, the development will include a 350-unit luxury apartment community, flexible office space, and more than 950 parking spaces. Planned amenities such as coffee shops, wellness concepts, outdoor gathering areas, and live entertainment venues are intended to create a vibrant live-work-play environment that serves both residents and professionals in the Energy Corridor.
As Houston continues to adapt to changing workplace and lifestyle preferences, developments like Ashford Yard highlight the growing demand for integrated, experience-driven environments. The project not only breathes new life into a former office campus but also reinforces the Energy Corridor's continued evolution as a vibrant hub for business, investment, and community activity.
